The default value for the SCTP connection was taken from system as 2 min timeout with 4 retries. Basically, the RIC identified that the e2Node is down after 8 minutes. Instead of this, we can introduce the ENV variable – which we can configure to a smaller values of timeout/re-tries which can be set using the ‘setsockopt’.
