RIC E2T to feed into RIC statistics system the metrics on E2 message received and sent by gNB
Note that earlier this idea was also mentioned in RIC-30, but RIC-30 is now only about latency measurements (complicated to implement), while this item (RIC-358) is about counting messages, and maybe bytes transferred (which we already implemented in RIC-178) and feed them into the RIC statistics systems via RMR (not yet implemented).
Earlier we thought that this item RIC-358 depends on first supporting some adapter that reads general RMR statistics data and feeds it into statistics. This work is underĀ RIC-126 but later we realized that if we forward data from E2T to a E2 stats calculator this data is not in generic format that is easy to translate into counter-level statistics. So this item does not depend on RIC-126 anymore. The E2 stats calculator can directly expose the counters to Prometheus.
