No remaining work (2020-04-29): This was implemented: (B) O1 side implementation to expose K8S state via O1. Enhancements with which we can implement health check script that sends a special RMR message and waits for a response.

Something in area of testability.

(A) O1: a netconf function to explicitly check health via RMR test messages to xApp.

(B) O1: show state of xApp health checks by querying K8S current state of xApp pods

RMR-side work

Note that the xApp implementations for this are managed under the RICAPP project.

We might drop (A) as anyway Kubernetes periodically checks the health via exactly the same mechanism. If we drop (A) we can have xApp developers decide whether they implement health check using RMR or via "normal" K8S HTTP. This is then hidden behind K8S configuration and O1 only exposes the state it queries from K8S.
